Experience that connects the field to the decision.
Selected principal experience
These examples reflect the experience of founder Benjamin Worlund, including work completed before Wild Lands Institute LLC was formed. They are principal experience, not a claim of corporate past performance.
Private-land stewardship — A 173-acre North Alabama stewardship and habitat plan; pine and oak savanna conversion and forest-stand improvement; wetland and waterfowl habitat enhancement in Northeast Alabama.
Restoration & conservation — Post-industrial restoration in Greater Atlanta and conservation-easement and stewardship support in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Georgia.
Coastal & infrastructure — Field and ecological integration experience associated with Atlantic Coast dredging, beach nourishment, and marine construction, including USACE-related work.
Across these settings, the common thread is useful synthesis: connecting field observations, spatial evidence, technical requirements, and people to a practical next decision.
